If there is a couple of years ago, a command of the TV served only to change the channel, today have have more features. However, the command continues to not be a one-equipment user-friendly when we have to interact more in the background with the menus and, especially, when we have to write something.
If you have MEO, you should know that there is an app that allows us to interact easily with the Box/TV. We will get to know the MEORemote.
In 2011 we introduced the MEORemote here. The MEORemote is an application developed entirely in Portugal for the remote control of the platform IPTV MEO. This app allows any client to easily control the BOX, MEO, and can even display the photos of our smartphone on the TV.
How to use?
After installing, the application automatically detects all the MEO boxes available on the network. Choose which box you wish to control, and we are ready to start the interaction with the MEO.
THE MEO Remote replicates all the functions of the remote control MEO traditional zapping, volume control, navigation keys, audio recordings, access to the video club, fast forward, the rewind, pause tv, tv guide, among others. In addition it allows also:
- Share what’s on tv with friends via Facebook and Twitter
- Share photos from your iPhone, iPad or Android with the TV (a great feature when we want to show our photographs with family or friends)
- Schedule recordings MEO remotely
- Search programs directly on the TV
THE MEO Remote is available free of charge to customers, providing customers with packages ADSL or Fibre. If you have this service, just install and start using.
