Five later after coming to Android as Beta, the Prisma is open to all users of the little robot system, from version 4.1 Jelly Bean. The app, which is successful in Brazil and in the world among users of iOS devices, is also promised for Windows 10 Mobile (and already have some alternatives in the Windows Store).
The Prism Lab company responsible for the development, launched the first app in June this year, exclusively for iPhone and iPad users. The Prism uses artificial intelligence to apply artistic effects to photos. More than 30 filters available, some inspired by the brushstrokes of Van Gogh and Picasso. There are also filters sponsored by companies that must pay good money to developers.
With simple interface to be used, the program provides direct integration for Facebook and Instagram. Like Instagram, the user can select an image in the gallery for changes or make a new image from the programinha camera. Each filter can be applied to a greater or lesser extent, leaving the stylized image or closer to reality, simply the user to slide to the left and to the right.
in addition to integration with Instagram and Facebook, Prism also allows the user sharing on all Android applications that allow this feature from other apps. Here are some figures released by the co-founder of the newly app:
- More than 400 million photos were “prismadas”
- more than 10.6 million times just been downloaded on iOS
- has more than 1.55 million active users per day
- Daily Downloads reached about 700 000
The download Prisma is free and the user can choose to remove the watermark that is placed in the lower right corner of the image, if you prefer. Just go to settings and uncheck the option. The app is compatible with Android 4.1 or later, and with iOS from 8.0.
