There are several contradictory rumors about Allo: First, there were those who said that the new application of Google messages, along with the Duo, would replace the Messenger and Hangouts. However, says the Android Headlines, is not so.
According to some developers, Google will not replace the Messenger and Hangouts with Allo and Duo, since the Allo can not show Allo messages and SMS in the same application, contrary to the Messenger. Google will not even intended to make compatible application to another platform.
This second rumor makes sense given that Google has promised to launch the Allo Hangouts would not cease to exist.
Allo and the duo have not yet been publicly released and may be ‘pre-booked’ in the Google app store, Play Store. It is believed to be released along with Android 7.0 nougat.
