Months after the iOS application, Wikipedia has decided to renew its Android application, giving a new design and new features.

The main application screen will now show feed ‘explorer’ where are recommended photographs, articles and other content based on what you have read before or current events. Explains The Next Web that the feed is divided into cards, similar to Google Now, depending on the type of suggestion.
It will also be possible to see the picture and the picture of the day articles chosen by the editors of Wikipedia, the five most popular articles of the day and items generated randomly.
