The tablet Pixel C, one of the first to be released by Google for the growing market for hybrid devices, won many fans around the world since its release.
Bringing the proposed productivity on-the-go because of its detachable keyboard, the device already has, even with Android Marshmallow, thanks to Google’s commitment to send monthly updates to this device, however, these same updates are causing headaches for owners of this laptop, especially the last update that was sent now in early May.
After the latest update package, many people are reporting malfunction their Pixel C , which when unplugged from the outlet, in a period of time ranging between 5 and 30 minutes of use, the tablets begin to restart for no apparent reason.
apparently, the failure is related to the “Twelve Mode” Android Marshmallow, a feature that promises to save battery devices “falling asleep” applications that are not being actively used.
According to reports, the resumption of machines usually happens when the user enters a period of inactivity, causing what the device display turns off.
Users testing latest build of Android N in Pixel C also noticed the same behavior, but due to an operating system still in beta, may not call as much attention as the same behavior going on Marshmallow, a final version of the system already available for the public.
We do not know if Google is already aware of the problem, as many threads posted on Reddit, Code.Google. . with and Google Product Forums have not received official responses
for now, the only way to “fix” this behavior is flasheando the M5C14J compilation released in April; Another alternative is to live with the problem until Google takes action to fix it.
It is not the first time that the owners of Pixel C experience problems because the unit had also presented defects in relation the slow operation of Wi-Fi.
