Android will arrive soon to Raspberry Pi 3 – Pplware

The Raspberry Pi is a mini computer designed to give at a reduced price, a high processing capacity. With an operating system based on Linux, it has been extended to other area that go far beyond their original idea.

The question of the operating system to use has been much discussed, with many users ask for you can run Android. If until now there was no official proposal, this situation may be changing very soon.

With multiple operating systems based on Linux, the Raspberry Pi has available various uses, all of them facing the user and to perform multimedia tasks and services. There is also a version of Windows 10 dedicated to this platform, she also facing services.

Something is missing and that many ask, is a version of Android dedicated to this computer. There are some created experiences, but always coming from developers who take on the role that should be Google.

But the giant research now appears to be turning to the Raspberry Pi and appeared in the AOSP repository ( Android Open Source Project) an area dedicated to the Raspberry Pi 3.

This code repository is still no version available, but shows that will likely arise awaited version of Android dedicated to the youngest Raspberry Pi.

Being a AOSP version should have immediately the Google application store, but this is a limitation that easily can be overcome and everyone will be able to enjoy a full Android experience.

it now remains to hope that Google and the Android community to develop this version so that later can be used by all.
