Google is working to bring research resources’ Gboard … – ZoomTech (Blog)

After announcing Gboard for iOS, the team behind the application development had a chat in producthunt site to discuss the new keyboard features. When they were asked about support for Android, the product manager, Bri Connelly said Google is working on a better way to carry the functionality to Android devices

His exact answer was. “Working on best way to bring the same functionality for Android now! “. According to the site 9to5Google, this would indicate that the Gboard the search features will be added to the Google keyboard, rather than an entirely new application.

The more resources interesting Gboard iOS are the quick search capability through the Google search engine, paste the web results directly in a conversation without leaving your iPhone keyboard. In search gifs and emoji, simply type what you are interested and the figure appears to you, for example, search for “dance” and the application will display the corresponding emoji. Thus eliminating the need for other apps.

Google keyboard also received a major update a few weeks ago, which added a one-handed mode, faster access to emoji, and several other customization options. This would indicate that the Gboard could be part of a new update for Android keyboard.
