Motorola confirms Android for The Moto G4 Plus – Tudocelular.com

Moto G4 Plus was announced this week along with two members of the new Moto G line, now under full control of Lenovo. Its differential is to bring biometrics, and more memory. Coming with Android Marshmallow it was expected that the same count with guaranteed upgrade to Android N – version that has not yet been officially released, but is available in beta for the Nexus line. While Google is bringing news about the next major update of the little robot system, Motorola already goes further and confirms that the next version will be the Android O.

Guaranteed updates has always been the motto of the Moto G. Line With Lenovo in charge this strategy should not change. With Google bringing a major new version of Android a year, it is already certain that the Moto Plus G4, as well as others, have guaranteed updates until the end of 2017. Google has not yet chosen the name to be used in Android N, and less should is considering how will the system version 8.0 name. But this Motorola information only helps to reinforce that really will see a new name every year, which strengthens the company’s promise to launch more significant updates every 12 months.

All the versions of Moto G4 come with 2 GB of RAM in Brazil. The G4 Play comes with the same Snapdragon 410 last generation, but the larger models bet on octa-core processors, which make them fully able to have enough power to run the next generation of Android without problem. We can only hope the good will of the Motorola / Lenovo not to abandon this very early generation. In some countries, such as India, Moto Plus G4 has up to 3 GB of RAM. Already in others, as in the United States, the model comes to bring version with 4 GB of RAM – the same amount found in current flagships.

There is still no information about the Android O. What we can expect is that their number is actually 8.0. While Google is focused on finalizing version 7.0, hardly hear any news about what will be released only in 2017. Who knows what will come with Android The version 4.6 of the Linux kernel recently released with support for mobile devices?
