Have Android Lollipop Nexus 6 on your Nexus 4, 5, or 7 – Tudocelular.com

Even before the Nexus 6 reach the public, developers XDA already share your system to other members of the Nexus line. Before Nexus available for 5, the developer Sykopompos decided to expand the availability of the new ROM smartphone from Google and also take your tablet, the Nexus 7.

The total file has 493MB and already incorporates all current applications of Google with Material Design that did not come in the preview version 3 released last week. Remember that not everything that works on the Nexus 6 will work on other models in the lineup, as is the case of the resource Ambient Display that needs a AMOLED screen to display notifications when it is off. Like all Nexus have IPS screen, this feature may contribute to a considerable increase in the consumption of their batteries.

If you own a Nexus 4, 5 or 7 and want to have the ROM on your Nexus 6 device, just follow these steps:

  • Place the zipped ROM file from the internal memory of your device
  •

  • Reboot and enter in your recovery (CWM or TWRP)
  •

  • Do “wipe data” or factory reset
  •

  • Go to “Mounts and Storage” and select “System Formart”
  •

  • Now just go to “Install Zip” & gt; “Install zip from sdcard” and choose the file you downloaded
  •

  • After finishing just restart your device.

  •

The developer notes that the first boot may take more than 10 minutes . So you must have patience if the procedure is time consuming. He also advises that whenever you leave some updating Google also updated its ROM for it.

TudoCelular to report that reinforces is not responsible no problem that this procedure may cause to your device. Do at your own risk.
