Xposed Framework There is a well known solution for those who like to explore as much customization on your Android device. Unfortunately, one of the developers of the application stated that the Android Lollipop made it virtually impossible using Xposed.
Who makes that statement is the user forum XDA Developers rovo89 , the developer behind the popular Xposed. According to the developer, the app had severe incompatibilities with ART mode present in Android Lollipop. In previous versions of Android, there were problems with the Dalvik runtime.
Unfortunately, the developer said the latest developer preview release of Lollipop has not helped. The ART just invalidating all his work, and he’ll have to start almost from scratch, learning to program in this new mode. He therefore requests patience because there are many obstacles to overcome.
Even rovo89 states that ART is not the only problem to be solved. Google also strengthened the SELinux . This is a Linux kernel module that gives Android a series of tools to enhance safety, but ends up blocking access and the actions needed to Xposed work.
So one of the only outlets for rovo89 envisioned would be to create a new kernel, boot image. These changes, however, would be too drastic just to make your app work.
With so many problems, rovo89 acknowledged that will not get on alone. Both asked that helps the community. The prerequisites are knowledge of advanced languages like assembler / bytecode. You can find out more on the developer’s own posting.
With this tool users who can not afford to help only remains to hope that at least no new obstacles arise. Or at least, that are not so great proportion.
