Google can bring multi-window feature for Android L – Tudocelular.com

One thing Samsung implemented in their tablets and smartphones that lets the users and the pure Android or other manufacturers drooling with envy is feature multi-windows . With it we can have two applications open at the same time sharing screen space. 10-inch tablets in the enterprise, such as S Tab you can have up four applications open side by side .

The news was already incorporated by LG in their latest releases, and it looks like Google is also looking to follow suit. Some rumors claimed that the company was working on a similar concept to the L on Android tablets. The user can drag an application from one side to the other can make each occupying half of the screen .

Some older images, the end of 2013 and early this year , point to what could be the multi-windows Android L. feature not know if Google is still working on this project and really we shall see in the next version of Android that will arrive soon.

Basically, you can have two open at one time apps. Directly from the Recent Apps you can select which application screen will take up half the screen by dragging it to the desired area. . Across the home screen still work conventionally, giving access to notifications and Google Now

The question is: How will users quit this app that occupies only half the screen, since the other half is the system home screen? By pressing the home button will not result in any command, or perhaps Google has thought of something to solve this problem.

In the images above we can get an idea of how notifications are displayed on half the screen. But there is something curious here. All pictures are 4: 3 ratio , but the Android tablets have Standard 16: 9 or 16:10 . Some rumors claim that the HTC working on a new tablet with standard 4: 3 dedicated and focused on productivity keyboard

Anyway, this news is just too recent and maybe not. we will see this new feature in Android L. But, as everything can be possible, it may be that Google surprise us with a new version of its system.
