Google Play Store for Android gets visual and L new icon – Globo.com

The application Google Play Store has a new update for Android, on Friday (10). After the change of interface you put photos on the cover page of each application, among other changes, the new version brings the expected Material Design, and new icon. The move comes just days before the likely launch of Android L, based on this completely new style.

In the new look, the titles are larger and the spacing between the smaller items, giving a feeling of better utilization of space in some sections of the app. In terms of colors, the only change in the top bar is now painted in a shade of green. The new animations are highlighted Material Design, but only appear in the Google Play app in the top left corner when you open the side menu.

But the icon won a drawing without shadows, sticking the predominant trend of interface design, known for flat design . With this, the image of the application in the Android home screen is more “flat” and slightly rounded edges.

The updated Google Play Store is automatic, but is being gradually realized and, as usual, starting with the United States and Europe. So there are chances that even light a few days until the changes are visible to users in Brazil.
