Comparison: What is the fastest browser for Android? – Tudocelular.com

Browsing the Internet is probably the most performed task on all devices currently, smartphones to PCs, through tablets and even watches. Therefore, it is common that many people have doubts about which browser to use to browse the Internet due to the huge amount of options present on all platforms.

We decided to perform a then test with the most downloaded on Google Play Store options, so that users of Android may have a basis in time to download it, remembering that the result may vary depending on the device used and the device version of this system. In this case, the test was done on a i9505 Galaxy S4 with Android 4.4.2 KitKat

In this quick test browsers were analyzed:. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Next, Opera , UC and Dolphin. It is worth mentioning that only the speed to open pages and switch between open tabs was taken into account, not been analyzed quantity of functions present or not in each of them.

Opening Pages

In the first test, was seen by the time it takes each application to finish loading the main page TudoCelular. We consider here a technical tie between Chrome and Opera , they both managed a time that varied between 6 and 9 seconds to fully load the page, while the rest were far from it with an average between 10 and 25 seconds. It is also worth noting that the browser was slower Firefox , requiring up to 30 seconds to load the site in a few tries.

Tabbed Browsing

In the second test, was taken into account the time needed for the application to open a page contained in a second tab, to know whether you need to reload the page in any of them and if there is some delay until the page is actually displayed. In this test, all browsers fared very well, with a slight advantage for the Next and Chrome , because they have to make gestures to switch between tabs faster than is seen in the other. On the other hand, the Dolphin and Firefox have a more tailored interface for tabbed browsing, allowing switch between them with just a touch. Therefore, we believe that there are positives in all of them.

As can be seen, both Chrome and the Opera are great options for those who want to sail with the maximum possible speed . However, one should take into account that this is not all, it is also necessary that the browser has a nice interface and functions that are appropriate to their use , so this choice ends up getting more for taste personnel each.
