Last week, Google announced its next version of Android: the Lollipop. Even with cool features such as support for 64-bit apps, version 5.0 of the operating system may be bad news for its users. That’s because Google can destroy your ability to root on Android.
According to Chainfire, specializing in site root, the new Google system has security features to prevent problems such as espionage, which has hindered the process.
The site claims that the script that enabled the super user is forced to rotate so that there is full access to the Android. Thus, it is not possible to perform all necessary changes to “rootar” the device.
The Chainfrie still believes that a possible solution would be to enable root from Lollipop kernel, however, it could block the bootloader Android, which in turn, is used to restore and other operations in the OS.
