Before launching the next version of Android, Google made sure to update the statistics to prove that people are searching for newer systems. According to data from Android Developers, the portion of the equipment with the Jelly Bean surpassed models with Ice Cream Sandwich.
Almost 1% of all gadgets already use Jelly Bean, but the vast majority (26.1% of total) continues with version 4.1.x – only 2.3% have the update 4.2.x. Regardless of the version, it is worth noting that most of the devices already has ICS or with JB, which shows that the gingebread is losing its market (it fell almost 2% in these statistics).
Besides bringing about Android, the latest official report confirms that the screens “normal” (and HD) have dominated. Devices with displays ranging between 3.5 and 5 inches are more common. The vast majority of these devices offers density between 200 and 300 dpi.

Such information proves that people want bigger screens and better quality. Information is very specific about the preferred size, but judging by the density, it is possible to confirm that devices with HD resolution (720p) and Full HD (1080p) are helping to drive this data. What is your version of Android? And the display size?
