SAO PAULO – Google I / O, Google’s most important event in the year started on Wednesday (15) in San Francisco, California, announcing, among other things, the new Android platform.
The event was initiated by the vice-president of Google, Vic Gundotra. In the presentation, Vic said that currently there are over 900 million Android users worldwide, and that last year, that number was at 400 million. These users also install more and more applications: more than 48 billion apps for Androids.
According to the website TechCrunch, will have a new feature in Android games, called Google Play Game Services. The software is a set of APIs (application programming interfaces) that allows connection of users on different computers, and the creation of rankings of players.
This service is available for Android and iOS, Apple’s operating system. The feature saves the information in the “cloud”, which allows the user to start on a device, such as your mobile phone, and finish in another, as in a tablet without losing the status of the game.
