Amazon launches login service for websites and apps Android and iOS - Terra Brazil

Amazon announced on Wednesday a new service called “Login with Amazon,” which allows the user to use the registration information with the online retailer within Android and iOS, plus sites. Thus, the company’s customers do not need to remember yet another password, says a statement.

“The Login with Amazon allows application developers and website owners that use the solution trusted login Amazon, allowing focus on giving a great experience to their users,” defined Michael Carr, vice President of Services Electronic Commerce company, in a statement.

According to Seattle giant, a test with Zappos.com showed that customers preferred to use the login from Amazon in 40% of cases. The beta release with Woot showed “the greatest conversion” of all, still the company.

The service is free to the developers and the SDKs (Kits) for Android and iOS are available on the Login with Amazon.
