Learn how to move Android apps to memory card - Globo.com

If you need to move

Android internal storage of your phone to the memory card, do not worry. With just a few simple steps, you can save space on your smartphone and ensure that the system run smoother. To help you, the TechTudo prepared this tutorial on how to transfer your apps to the microSD card.

Step 1. This walkthrough was done in a Galaxy S3, but it is likely that newer versions of Android have a run very similar. Click on the “Apps” on your phone and browse to find the “My Files”.

Step 2

. In this menu, tap “All files”.

Step 3. Now you have two options: “sdcard0″, which is the internal memory of the S3, and “extSDcard” your memory card. Tap the phone memory.

Step 4. Select the program folder that you want to send the card and select the “Move” which is the icon in the top three rows of the screen, next to a trash can.

Step 5. You will be directed to a screen equal to the Step 3. This time, however, touch on the external card option.

Step 6. Tap “move here” after opening the directory of an external card.

Ready! Your application was successfully moved! Now you can free up more space on the internal memory of your smartphone every time you need.
