Learn how to use Feedly on iPhone or Android - Globo.com

The Feedly became the main representative of this great migration of users nostalgic Google Reader. Already famous before the announcement of the end of the Google service, the app is an excellent option for those who want to read your favorite feeds in one place. Thinking about it TechTudo prepared a tutorial to teach you how to use this tool on your smartphone.

Step 1. Download the Feedly on your smartphone;

Step 2. Once installed, in his first start the app will ask for permission to login with your Google account. If you do not have one, will be required to create the same;

Step 3. After logging in, will then load the home screen Feedly. From there you can start the process of adding feeds – ie news channels – the tool. To start this process, tap on the magnifying glass located at the upper right of the screen.

Step 4. In the window that appears, enter in the search text “g1.globo”. Then click on the plus sign (+) located next to the desired result;

Step 5. You will notice that a confirmation window will appear on the left side of the screen. Select an existing category or create a new label by tapping the “New Category”. For this new category, enter the title “News” and tap on the “Create” button to confirm the registration of the feed.

Step 6. Notice now that the news site G1 will be displayed on the screen of your smartphone. Such news can be viewed in three different ways: on the list, such as a magazine or in the form of cards. Tap the prominent figure in the image below, and a window view options will appear for you to choose the most appropriate;

Step 7. Still in the window mentioned in the previous step, the user can perform actions such as, for example, update the news (“refresh”), to schedule a news ever read (“category mark as read”), clear it, choose to read the articles oldest first (“oldest articles first”), among others;

Step 8. To move to a nearby news, slide your finger up on the screen of the device. To return to the previous, do the reverse movement;

Step 9. If you want to change the settings of feed reader, touch the figure of three vertical bars, located on the upper left of the screen, and go to the menu item “Settings”. Through it you can organize and edit your feeds, change the theme of the tool to access advanced settings, among other options.
