Earlier today leaked a list of smartphones that can be upgraded to Android Marshmallow soon. We have seen models from Samsung, HTC, Sony, ASUS, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Huawei and LG too. This list is divided into two columns:. The first was told the most certain models to received the update, while the second are those that the manufacturer is studying the case of performing the procedure or not
From the South Korean was told how right we see the new models arrive for G3, G4 and G Flex 2. It shows that the latest flagship of LG arrive with the news in the coming months. In the models of the likely saw that the manufacturer can is testing the new version of Google’s system G2, G Pro 2 and G Flex. Now we see that the older flagship can actually be updated.
The above image was obtained from a benchmark, specifically the GeekBench. We can see that G2 has undergone testing marking a score of 916 points when only one core is in use and 2.714 Snapdragon points when all four cores 800 are active. However, the most interesting part is the section on the system version in use when the test was performed. The Android Marshmallow can show that LG may actually release the update to its former flagship.
The LG G2 was launched in 2013 with Android Jelly Bean. Since then, the model has been updated to the KitKat and also for Lollipop (only in some countries). So we can expect the same to happen in Marshmallow, causing the Korean variant or just some sold in the United States are updated.
The G2 is a well-loved smartphone among Brazilians for bringing a powerful hardware and a beautiful 5.2-inch IPS screen and Full HD resolution. The device has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, sinning for lack of microSD cards. Anyway, it still presents an interesting value for money in our market and it would be well appreciated by many to LG actualize the same for Android Marshmallow, as expected by most current version of Android still continues.
Remember that LG has not revealed a certain date to launch the Android Marshmallow for any of its models. So it may happen this year or only in 2016.
