With the Galaxy Note 3, the company brought a more basic version of the device to the market with similar design, but focusing on delivering a simpler hardware and more affordable price. The big problem is that the company only launches Android updates to a very restricted portfolio, usually those who are part of the high-end of the company. The Android Lollipop was uncertain for the Galaxy Note 3 Neo for a long time, but the company decided to release the update in August. Now, we are surprised to see that the device is also getting the version 5.1.1 of the Google system.

As can be seen, the model has enough hardware to Lollipop account, leaving no excuses for the South Korean deny this update.

The first market receiving Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is South Korea. The news is coming over the air for Koreans, including the SM-N750L models SM-N750K and SM-N750S. Other regions that count on these variants should begin receiving the update in the coming weeks. Of course, with the release of Android 6.0 Marshmallow users appliance or owe more to cheer because they are getting a newer version of Lollipop. Anyway, it’s better to get stuck in the most stable version of Google’s system has a major correction of security problems.

The update comes with a 900 MB file that brings all the changes made by Google before the release of Android Marshmallow. Unfortunately, the TouchWiz still continues with some elements found in the Galaxy Note 3, leaving out great new features like the Samsung themes manager. Anyway, the kernel has a build date of October 12, showing that the company has been working in the code until recently. The firmware can also be downloaded, going through the same by ODIN. Meanwhile, the novelty may take to get here via OTA.
