Intrusive applications on Android have been downloaded more than 200 … – SAPO Tek

The computer security firm Eset Security found intrusive applications on Google Play that when installed, show ad every 30 or 40 minutes on the user’s smartphone. These apps are presented as tools of tips and tricks for two popular games – Pou and Subway Surfers – and have been downloaded more than 200,000 times

The applications in question -. Cheats for Pou, Guide for SubWay and Cheats for SubWay – use a scheme to trick Google’s verification system. The ‘eyes’ Google Bouncer – a tool that validates the package source code submitted by the developers – the applications do not present any code that makes them be blocked by the systems of the US technology

The computer security expert also points out in a statement that although the alleged applications by ESET have already been removed, many others should exploit in the near future similar methodologies.

Recalls It was found that the new Android 6.0 ‘Marshmallow’ brings improvements in security since strengthens the control of permissions that give users the mobile applications.
