Chrome OS and Android will merge – AndroidGeek

According to some sources of The Wall Street Journal, Google may be about to merge both operating systems Android and Chrome OS and turn them into a single platform.
The combined system may appear as early as next year and will be available to users during 2017.
It is expected that the new operating system will have support for Google Play, allowing access ace Store applications through laptops and PCs, and more flexibility for users. And it will be a great advantage, as Chromebook users have many applications to choose from, because application developers have been reluctant to create applications for such a small user base.

Also according to the same source, Google engineers are already working on the merger of the two systems for about two years and have recently made significant progress. As usual, because it is a rumor from a source who declined to be identified, probably Google will not comment on the matter until it’s scheduled date to reveal the novelty, what should happen at Google I / O 2016.
