Google officially released Android 6.0 Marshmallow few weeks ago and began a race between the manufacturers by the more agile title in the category software update. Even with the good will of the great brands in the market, it is certain that many devices will be set aside, at least officially, but independent developers such as CyanogenMod group showed that we need not be orphans.
CyanogenMod 13 based on the latest version of the green little robot system is already in full development work to add the own resources of the alternative ROM and offer maximum choice for users. One of the news in the making is the new lock screen that we will see in CM13, whose previous demonstration we see the video below.
In the video we see that the presentation is made using a projector to enlarge the image of a Android smartphone duly updated with Android Marshmallow under the hood of the ROM CyanogenMod. The procedure for screen unlock is the same as current versions, which requires the fabric slip to the top, but the differences are noted in the new animations as an approximation of the horizon, clear waters with several fish or burst of a candy wrapper, all displaying data such as time and date with a new source.
After the screen unlock can also notice that the new ROM brings greater customization on the home screen with new icons for the camera app, drawer applications or navigation bar. Are details that show how advanced is the development work.
It is too early to hear talk about the first nightlies builds of the ROM CyanogenMod 13 Android 6 Marshmallow, but hopes are that the first devices should begin to receive concrete news by the end of this year.
