MOBILE TIME asked the passages price comparison service Kayak and hotels to conduct a research on the differences in Android and Apple device users in Brazil. Thus the platform was able to analyze the different destinations in each of the users of different operating systems
The results show that consumers of Android devices usually do more trips within Brazil, while the owners of iOS devices often travel abroad. The destinations most searched between the two systems is São Paulo first, then immediately went to Rio de Janeiro.
In the top 10, the only cities outside Brazil that are searched by Android device users are Buenos Aires, New York and Miami. The number of international destinations increases in consumer iOS devices, which include Buenos Aires, New York, Miami, Orlando and Paris. The difference between the two types of users is even clearer at the time of lodging. Seven of the ten cities surveyed for hosting on iOS devices are international, already in Android are only five. The most frequent hosting on iPhones is New York, since Google’s system was to Rio de Janeiro.
