Devices with Android and Blackberry operating systems may start serving to buy iPhones and other devices with software Apple itself. The mark of Apple is planning an exchange program that allows to increase the sale of new iPhone models, 6 and 6 Plus, which in late 2014 had overtaken the smartphones sales with Android in the United States, a leading global technology markets
According to Bloomberg, who spoke with a person involved in the program -. and who is not identify – the idea is to consolidate further the iPhone as a reference phone. In the last quarter of 2014 Apple sold 74.5 million of these devices, which represented an increase of sales by 46% over the previous year.
Apple declined to confirm to Bloomberg that such exchanges will even happen, but what is certain is that the brand already has a similar program since 2013 when it began to promote the delivery of older models of iPhone as slaughter in the price of the newer models, but only in the United States. The fate of the old appliance is abroad, where they are again offered for sale as second-hand products.
According to Tim Cook, Apple’s leader, in the last quarter there were more people to switch from Android phones for Apple of what had happened in the previous three years. In Portugal, the trade program established by apple brand in October 2013 yet was never in force.
