Android 5.0 Lollipop already runs in 3.3% of equipment – Pplware

… but Android 4.4 KitKat continues to grow

Since the announcement of Android 5.0 Lollipop Pplware that has accompanied the evolution of the monthly figures with regard to the adoption of this new version of the mobile platform from Google.

The statistics for February indicated that the Android 5.0 Lollipop was present in 1.6% of equipment having now grown in March to 3.3%.

The adoption of Android 5.0 Lollipop remains very slow. As we reported, Android continues to dominate the market but fragmentation continues to not help the Google platform. According to the data now revealed by Google, Android 5.0 Lollipop already runs in 3.3% of equipment, growth “shy” given that in adopting to January stood at 0.1%.

Also noteworthy growth of Android 4.4 KitKat now for 40.9% (in February the figure was 39.7%).
