For those who doubt the Android’s performance in the PC, we recommend to try this project
There are several reasons to have an Android emulator on our PC. First, no need to have a device (tablet / smartphone) Android. Then because we know better and test all system features. Finally, because we have the applications and Android games in our Desktop.
After the Android-x86 project, Andy OS, BlueStacks and Genymotion today we will know the Andex.
Arne Exton recently announced the availability of Andex Live CD that now comes with Android 5.0.2 “Lollipop”. This distribution comes with a customized version at Arne’s own, including kernel and brings support for the NTFS file system.
To experience just put a PEN with LiliUBSCreator or Rufus and then booting the same.
This distribution can be performed in LiveCD mode or then installed on the PC itself. In terms of this distribution applications comes with Google Chrome, Google Maps, Google Calendar, etc. and brings Aptoide preconfigured as official store applications
The author of this project points out however that the Andex Live CD does not work very well through virtualization solutions such as Oracle VirtualBox or VMWare.
