addition to bringing Android 4.4 (Kit Kat) to its more powerful devices, Samsung might be studying adaptations of the operating system for its Galaxy line of products with more modest hardware. All this thanks to a decision by Google that allowed the new version of the platform to work with devices with low memory and processing power of more modest.

According to a list of products obtained by SamMobile site, the South Korean company is working on updates to the Galaxy S4 Mini, Mini Galaxy S3, Galaxy S Advance, Ace Galaxy 3, Galaxy Core, Frame Galaxy, Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy Fresh. It is worth noting that this apparent relationship be comprehensive, meaning that more devices with similar features can receive the new Android.

However, we must pay attention to the fact that, although the Samsung want to bring updates for these gadgets does not mean that it actually will do it. The major impediment in this direction is due to the TouchWiz interface, which does not seem so friendly at modest hardware as the new version of the Google operating system.

Although the update seem guaranteed to some newer devices like the Galaxy Mini S4, there is no estimate of when it should. At least if you depend on the recent history of Samsung, it might take – as well proves the way the company handled the Galaxy S3, a device that completely skipped version 4.2 of Android
