[ Google is preparing Android 4.4.1 update for Nexus devices KitKat ]
The newest version of Android, the 4.4 KitKat, was launched in late October and released days / weeks then to Nexus line – less for the Galaxy Nexus. However, as often happens in a large version (or major upgrade) OS, some problems are almost inevitable and this is no different on Android.
According 9to5Google , a relatively small number of Nexus devices are visiting the site using the Android operating system now in version 4.4.1, with most of them located in Santa Clara, California.
This suggests that people are testing the new version, specifically employees of Google itself. So far, the devices were identified: Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and an unknown other

While the information is good not create much anticipation over this update, because it must have as its main objective the correction of bugs and problems with a possible incompatibility of some function on a particular system, eg. For now, there is a planned release date of the update.
