Asus to announce the device with Windows 8 and Android at CES - Digital Look

It is tradition to give Asus Asian tips of their upcoming products shortly before a major technology fair. The proximity of CES 2014 brings us another new promotional video, which implies that a device with dual-boot Android and Windows 8 is coming.

There is no image for the product itself, but in a rather bizarre way, the video shows the Statue of Liberty making the sign “two” with his fingers and then divides the “tablet” in two, suggesting that the device will be a convertible between laptop and tablet.

The colors of the parties also alternate between blue, which supposedly represented Windows, and green, the color of Android.

Asus would not be the first manufacturer to think of the concept, but perhaps the first to launch. Samsung announced in September during IFA 2013 in Germany, the Activ Q, which sported a similar concept of dual-boot Android and Windows. . However, the company seems to have delayed the release, or even canceled the project as a whole
