Galaxy S4 and Note 3 should receive Android 'KitKat' in late January - Globo.com

The two tops

both smartphones run Android 4.2 ‘Jelly Bean’, though many have already been updated to version 4.3. The latter did not bring major changes to the user because it is more geared towards secondary system improvements.

Android 4.4, on the other hand, has brought significant improvements and new features, such as the yellow pages function in the dialer, which can provide business to enter numbers and receive calls, and the integration of Google Now with applications, which should generate results further customized. The visual improvements, however, should not reach Samsung devices, since the TouchWiz interface is a modified version of the system.
