The partnership between Nokia and Google is more unlikely it seems. Expected by experts and consumers, the Finnish company said that developing Android devices is not their focus. In an interview to a British newspaper, the company’s CEO, Stephen Elop explained that Nokia chose not to invest in the system by recognizing that lagged behind the strong competition that requires this platform in the market.

Accompanying the growth of Android in the hands of many companies, especially Samsung, Nokia sought alternatives suitable for existing operating systems, using the MeeGo and Symbian, and more recently in its Windows Phone smartphones.
