The Verge reported that developers resposnsáveis ??the virtual currency Bitcoin did know through a blog that discovered a flaw in the Android operating system that leaves the Bitcoin digital wallets vulnerable to theft.
The vulnerability affects all applications portfolios Bitcoin for Android, including Bitcoin Wallet, the BitcoinSpinner and Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet.
According to the same news, the developers said that the vulnerability lies in the ability of Android to generate secure random number sequences.
Services like
Mt Gox Coinbase and are not affected since private keys are not generated in the device.
