You’ve probably heard of the Pou a virtual pet that is having success on smartphones with Android. It is similar to the old Tamagotchis and you can play, feed the pet, bathe, participate in mini games and earn coins in exchange.
coins, you ensure food, clothing and items for extra fun. However, it is not officially available for computers, but this is no problem for those who follow the Tecmundo.
Here, we teach a simple and practical way to install and have fun with Pou on your computer without having a gadget with Android for this. Follow the tutorial below and have fun!
Registration and Installation
The first step is to register in Genymotion . On “Sign up”, just include your email and choose a username and password (the password must contain at least one number). Click “I accept terms of privacy statements” and “Sign up”. Then, enter your email box and confirm the registration.
Once you are confirmed with your registration, download the system by clicking on “Download Genymotion” and “Windows 32/64 bit (with VirtualBox).”
start the installation, it will scan your computer and if you do not already have a virtual machine, it will ask if you would like to create one. Just click “Yes” to confirm.
Once the system is installed, log in with your username and password (the same you registered on the site). Click “Connect” and wait for the login to be finalized.
With this, the software will open a page for you to choose your virtual device. In the list that is on the bottom of the screen, choose any option that says “with Google Apps.” You can make a choice based on the resolution of the screen displayed in each item.
Once you have selected, click “Add”. A new window will appear and in it, you just need to click “Next” and wait for the installation of the virtual machine. At the end, click on “Create” and the configuration is done automatically.
By clicking “Finish” you back to the homepage Genymotion. There, you can check your virtual machines. Double-click on the installed machine and deny the application configuration that appears below.
It’s time for fun!
After a few seconds, a window emulation smartphone will appear on your computer. You can use your mouse to set typically the “device” like a real gadget. Then, find the Play Store the list of applications and click to open.
On the page that appears, search for “Pou”, install the app and voila! Now you can have fun without limits with the virtual pet without having an Android for that. If you like, you can repeat the process with other games and applications.
note: if you can not open the machine through Genymotion, use the “Oracle VM VirtualBox”, which is installed with the system. Here, you have access to virtual machines already installed on your computer. Just click on the desired device, and select “Start”.
