Android Device Manager, which runs on devices with version 2.2 or higher of the Google operating system also offers the option to delete all device data. Thus, if it is stolen, there is no danger of their personal information falling into the wrong hands.

The tool is not the first for this purpose – third party applications, such as “Where’s my Droid ” and “Find my Phone “, already existed – but is the official solution from Google to avoid loss of equipment.

“Find my Phone”, incidentally, is also the name of the service’s official Apple , launched three years ago to find iPhones , iPad and iPods lost.
