Intel announces two tablets with Android operating system for schools - PCGuia

Intel announced two new tablets , the Intel Education Tablets , equipped with the Android operating system and were designed to be used in schools.

According to news site Phone Arena, one of the devices is equipped with a 7-inch screen with a resolution of no more than 1024 × 600 pixels.

specs include an Atom processor Z2420 at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage space.

The battery is said to have a battery life of 8 hours on a single charge.

The other tablet is equipped with a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels. Attendance for the Atom processor Z2460 1.6GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage space and a battery with a battery life of 6.5 hours.

Both devices are resistant to dust and water splashes.

Intel has not revealed any details about the prices of these new tablets or over when they will be offered for sale.
