The value comes however to put the KitKat as the second most popular version of Android, behind the Android 4.1 version that has over 26% of users. Adding all versions of Android Jelly Bean to ultrassa market share 54%.

The Android 2.3 Gingerbread and version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in August held significant market shares, with 13.6% and 10.6% respectively.

Android

Although the vast majority of users already concentrated in newer versions, the Android operating system remains highly fragmented at the operating system level and the scenario will worsen with the coming Android L.

As the operating system will undergo a major change, to the design and functionality level, it is expected that the growth rate that has been reported in KitKat Android suffers a breakdown in the following weeks. Manufacturers will start betting on the latest version and others will just forget about the equipment they already sent to market.
