A few months ago, the Google announced the next major version of its operating system, which until now is being called Android L . However, the actual name of the new version of the platform may have been confirmed by accident in the United States.
The assumption is responsible for the site Android Police and according to the staff portal , Android will call L Android Lemon Meringue Pie . The name follows the path traced by Google so far to call each version of Android for a name of some kind of sweet.
It is important to note that the assumption was not made out of nothing, but after a research papers that the next releases will feature the Android factory installed. In these documents the acronym LMP was found.
In the certification of a tablet to be released by the HTC , for example, the abbreviation LMP can be seen and speculations suggest that the device may be the next tablet Nexus line of Google.
For now, the the search giant would not comment on speculation suggesting that Android will be called L Lemon Meringue Pie, but Our view is that this is rather the name of the next major version of the platform, which should reach the user common in the coming months.
