According to Aviate, the owners of smartphones or Android tablets perform about 100 daily interactions with their applications. The peak usage is between 18h and 22h, when, on average, users utilize six apps per hour.
As might be expected, some types of applications are more open in either time of day . Use the Clock app, for example, shoots between 22h and 2h, when users program the alarm for the next day, and at 6am, at which time the phone wakes. Use of the Netflix and Facebook, in turn, grows throughout the day, peaking at around 22pm, according to Aviate.
