Feature multiple windows already runs on Android, but still need … – Tudocelular.com

Digging code Android L , several APIs were found on the multi-window feature that Google may integrate in version end of the system. This feature can already be seen in some devices Samsung and LG , although it makes much more practical to use on a tablet than on a smartphone (or phablet). And a very nice fact about this is that apparently, Google has worked on feature from the Jelly Bean version of its mobile operating system.

While still needs several adjustments, the system seems to run resource a very complete way. It is even possible to combine two applications assigning percentages of the screen ; as you can see below, the first image shows the split screen at 50% for each application, and second, the screen is 70% for one and 30% for another.

Although this works, as already noted, the feature still needs some fine adjustments to work perfectly well. In any case, we’re talking about something that is in a experimental phase and APIs are hidden and undocumented , requesting a “signature” access with a certain level of security .

In fact, the use of multi-window applications to separate and much can increase the productivity of a user of tablets, for example, that will be able to read an email and go on a writing notes another application in the same measure. Or, you can study a text PDF watch a video “simultaneously”. One can only wonder if this feature will even reach the final version of Android L.
