The original application of the concept had the sole purpose of being able to create control buttons within the games themselves that were available to Windows 8 – which in some cases could help make more intuititva gameplay. But it was with the arrival of the second version of GestureWorks Gameplay Remote that came one of its most interesting features.
Currently you can use the application to turn a smartphone or Android tablet in a game command. The user can set the buttons you want and think you will need, in positions that best understand.
The command can then be used to play games that are being run on the PC via Bluetooth connection. This matching method is not compatible with all games available on the market, so it is advisable to consult the supported list of titles.
In addition to using virtual buttons, users also gain access to other smartphone features such as vibration, sound production and use of the gyroscope for better gaming interaction.
The application is free and available to all equipment with the mobile operating system from Google in version 2.3.3 or higher.
