The confirmation of Nokia N1 sale date was taken by Sina Tech site based on the date set by Nokia for a press event in China.
The Nokia Technologies had already confirmed that the tablet would begin shipping in China during the first quarter of 2015, after making a deal with Foxconn that will manufacture, distribute and sell the device.
The expected price of $ 250 and the goal is to also distribute the tablet globally.
The Nokia N1 is the first device from Nokia Technologies after the sale of the mobile unit to Microsoft. The Finnish company was prevented from using the Nokia brand in smartphones by the end of 2016 and in feature phones for 10 years, but the tablet can overcome these limitations. There is also the possibility of Nokia Technologies launch a smartphone using another brand.
However Microsoft has discontinued the use of the brand Nokia in smartphones, choosing to keep only the Lumia name. The first Nokia Lumia without brand was presented last November 11.
