CEO of Samsung, Shin Jong-kyun, told reporters that the next camera launched by the company will be a mirrorless device running Android. According to the Korean Times website, the launch will take place in London, at an event scheduled for June 20.
Photos leaked Thursday by the site Tinhte show a mirrorless camera – gear with interchangeable lenses, such as professional cameras, but in a more compact body – running Android. The photos suggest that the camera will be called Galaxy NX and have resolution of 20.3 megapixels.
On Wednesday, the South Korean company has announced a smartphone Galaxy line with Opico 10 times zoom and 16 megapixel sensor. Last year, Samsung had launched the Galaxy line of a camera, equipped with Android, the Galaxy Camera.
