Samsung launches tablet that runs Windows and Android and more products - Terra Brazil

Samsung announced Thursday at an event in London its new product line Android and Windows. Products include the tablet Activ Q, which runs on both Android as Windows 8, the tablet Activ Tab 3, the finest on the market with Windows 8, and as pointed rumors, Samsung also announced a camera with interchangeable lenses running Android, Galaxy NX.

The Activ Q is a convertible tablet with integrated keypad, and can also be used as a notebook. It runs on both Windows 8 on Android 4.2.2 and has 13.3-inch screen. The handset has screen resolution of 3200 x 1800, Intel Core i5 processor and 4 GB of RAM. Samsung says that the device battery lasts up to 9 hours.

Already Activ Tab tablet is 3, according to Samsung, the tablet with Windows 8 world’s thinnest. It is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 1.2 pounds. The tablet, which has Intel chip and 10.1-inch display has battery life of 10 hours.

The Galaxy NX camera has a 4.8-inch touchscreen HD, 1.6 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and runs Android 4.2. The camera has a resolution of 20.3 megapixels, internal capacity of 16 GB. The camera has Wi-Fi and 4G, allowing for quick sharing of photos. It is the first interchangeable-lens camera to run Android.

The company also announced new ultrabooks, the Activ Activ Book 9 and Book 9 Plus. Both devices run Windows 8, have 13.3-inch multitouch screen, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of SSD storage. The Activ Book 9 is equipped with an AMD A6 quad-core processor, while the Plus version has Intel Core i5 chip Haswell.
