Google may add support for RAW images in Android - Tudocelular.com

After Nokia

include support for RAW images in the camera Lumia 1020 and 1520, Google apparently follow the same path and must submit a new version of the Android API Camera pure. Other news, with it you can record uncompressed images in RAW format.

The information comes from a developer named Josh Brown, who claims that the work in this new API is already underway. Along with RAW images, Brown said that the search giant plans to introduce facial recognition and also native support for modular lenses – lenses as QX100 QX10 and Sony, which have already been presented abroad and have not yet been officially released in Brazil.

If this new support for images is actually inserted, we have better cameras on Androids, something the Lumia, especially the 1020, go too far in quality. The picture is even worse for the Nexus, which always suffered from very low quality cameras ce. Additionally, you can open a wider range of cameras that adopt Android as the operating system, such as Samsung and Nikon are already on some models.
