initiative Parques de Sintra app allows users to access information on points of interest in images and texts, while visiting the monument. In addition to the multimedia courses were also added features Augmented Reality in key points of the wall, allowing dynamically obtain more information on the spot, on the points of interest of the landscape.
Along the route the user still has access to QR codes that can be read by any device with Internet access.In the place where it was built the Moorish Castle are identified human remains since the year 5000 BC to the present day allowing the application to see images recorded during archaeological excavations in spaces that are not visible today.
Historical data on the Castle, from its founding to the present day, are also part of the information integrated in the application , which is available in three languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish.
The app is available for smartphones and tablets with the Android and iOS operating system and includes several historic monuments of the Serra de Sintra, as Parks Pena, Monserrate and Capuchins.
