[Android 4.4 comes to the KitKat Moto X, the first customers for Verizon] - Xpert Mobile

A few weeks ago Google announced the launch of Android 4.4 KitKat and now the first manufacturer outside the Nexus line announces the upgrade to one of their devices.

Motorola in conjunction with the American operator Verizon announced that the OTA updates via the Moto X to Android 4.4. KitKat start today (19) and advances to customers at all stages, so it is normal that in a few days all smartphones are updated.

The update brings all innovations expected in the system as a new interface, new applications and phone messages (now included in Hangouts), emojis keyboard by default and new tools for image editing , among others. The update also brings some new features exclusive to the camera’s Moto X, like the ability to adjust focus and exposure image just by dragging your finger across the image.

This update shows that Motorola is indeed a new company, since a few months users suffered from the lack of recent updates to the company’s smartphones and now it updates your smartphone even before the Nexus 4 or Google Edition devices.
