After the release of version number of Chrome 32 for Windows, Mac and Linux, it is the turn of mobile devices receiving the news. The new installation of the browser should arrive in the coming days for Android (via Google Play) and iOS (through Apple’s App Store) and will bring interesting tools, such as a feature data compression, translation tools and malware protection.

According to Google, the new compression tool should help users economize your bandwidth, load pages faster and more safely browse on their phones and tablets. As the sites will go through the company’s servers before being opened, the company can check if you do not try to address with viruses or other malicious software.

The company believes that by reducing the use of data your users can save money on their mobile plans, now that the new service can reduce consumption by up to 50% information while you browse the web. To activate the tool just open the browser settings, select “Reduce data usage” and move the switch to “On”. You can also check how much of your bandwidth was saved last month.

In compression, the Android app has also gained support application shortcuts, which basically lets users save page addresses in your desktop operating system to be able to open them directly in a normal Chrome window. Simply click the “Add to Home screen” for the shortcut to be saved button, allowing you back directly to that page whenever you want.

The only exceptions are the sites which include meta tag mobile-web-app-capable. In this case, the pages will be opened in a special window in full screen from Chrome, which does not have the resources tabs, buttons, menus, and even the address bar.

Finally, the iOS version of Chrome should also receive support to Google Translate, that feature is already present in the version of Android since July. The addition means you can now translate websites open in the browser with the push of a button on your iPhone or iPad, as we have become accustomed to do on desktops.
