Rumors indicate that Samsung is planning to bring Android 4.4 (KitKat) for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy S4 in January this year, without incurring aside their older products. According to an informant told the site Android Geeks, the update will also reach the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 from the end of March this year.
“In an attempt to discover when the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 will receive the very anticipated update to Android 4.4.2, we contacted a software engineer from Samsung that confirmed us that both devices will be updated for KitKat ‘at the end of the first quarter of 2014, shortly after receiving the new Galaxy S4′, “says the text published by the page.
The update should not bring much news regarding use interface, and there is the statement that no software feature will be added to old devices. As always, the update should be released in stages, which, for the Brazilians, means the ability to achieve it only through official channels after the half-year or even close to 2015, taking into account the latest way Samsung comes as treating their older devices.
